Master Food Preservers Talk at the OHG Education Farm

The Master Food Preserver (MFP) program is a public service community outreach providing up-to-date information on food safety and preservation. A Master Food Preserver is a volunteer who is formally educated in food preservation/food safety and is certified by a university cooperative extension. A Master Food Preserver will be at the OHG Education Farm on October 28th from 10-11:30am teaching a food preservation/food safety event free to the community. Have you ever seen a tree that produces multiple varieties of fruit? Have you ever wondered how that happens? Well the UCCE OC Master Gardeners will be at the OHG Education Farm on Saturday November 18th to give a FREE workshop on how to graft trees. Learn the basics of tree grafting and watch (and participate) as the Master Gardeners graft 3 stone-fruit trees on the OHG Education Farm. Class starts at 9am.

Farmer’s Market Closed December 30th

The farmer's market will be closed on Saturday December 30th in observation of New Years. We will re-open in our new location on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 303 W. Palm Ave., Old Towne Orange. Market hours remain 9am to 1pm. This new location is directly across the street from our former location. Parking available on Cypress Street, in Chapman's Digital Media Arts Parking Structure, and in the Palm Ave. parking lot adjacent to the railroad tracks.
