#WeAreOrangeStrong Community Yard Sign Partnership
Connecting our community through action, the Community Foundation of Orange (CFO) and Orange Home Grown Foundation (OHG) are proud to partner to support our community during this time of uncertainty. With materials donated by The Home Depot (Taft & Tustin), local volunteers are handcrafting orange wooden signs for placement in yards to spread messages of strength, hope and unity. Each sign, painted with chalk paint to allow for customization of messages by each buyer, can be purchased for $50 (includes sales tax).
100% of the proceeds will be used to purchase food from the Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market to be donated to WasteNot OC Coalition. This food will be used by WasteNot OC to prepare meals for families in need during the COVID-19 crisis. Through this effort, the CFO and OHG hope to raise significant funds to not only help the small family farmers of OHG, but to help alleviate food insecurity and hunger among the needy in our community. We are stronger together than we are alone.
