Volunteers are significant members of our team. If you are interested in becoming an OHG volunteer, please contact our OHG Board member and Volunteer Coordinator Alex Tomko. Here are brief descriptions of some of the volunteer opportunities available through OHG. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Although we strongly encourage new volunteers to fill out the Online Volunteer Form and Volunteer Release Form- OHG, a few hardcopies of the waiver will be available at the Information Booth at the Orange Home Grown Farmers and Artisans Market and are on hand at the OHG Education Farm. Please help us reduce paper waste and save time! Please direct all questions and comments to Alex Tomko. Confirmation of volunteer opportunity must be set through our Volunteer Coordinator.
Annual OHG Kevin Hogate Volunteer Award
The Annual Kevin Hogate Volunteer Award honors an individual in our community who exemplifies the true meaning of volunteerism. Volunteering is an act of kindness by an individual freely giving of their time, talents, and labor to community service. Kevin’s life was cut much too short his freshman year of college, and Orange Home Grown (OHG) is proud to partner with the Hogate Family to share Kevin’s passion for community and willingness to get involved and give back locally. Kevin is greatly missed by his family and friends, but his memory lives on through others.
